Fuck the ICJ
International Court of Justice makes interim ruling in South Africa’s case against Israel over war in Gaza. And it sucks. What is the point of an International Court of Justice ICJ that has NO POWER.
Since October 7, Israel’s military campaign has killed at least 26,083 people and wounded 64,487 others, according to officials in Gaza.

What is the ICJ
The ICJ is the United nation's top court. Its role is to settle legal disputes submitted to it by states, and to give advisory opinions on legal questions referred to it by authorized United Nations organs and specialized agencies.

- Israel should avoid acts under the Genocide convention.
- Israel should prevent and punish direct and public incitement to genocide.
- Israel should take immediate and effective measures to ensure the provision of humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza.
- Israel should preserve evidence of genocide and submit a report to the ICJ within one month of all measures taken in line with its orde
No Ceasefire
The court stopped short of calling for an immediate ceasefire. BUT...Less than two years ago in March 2022, the ICJ had ordered Russia to halt its war on Ukraine after Kyiv took Moscow to the ICJ.
South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor, who was at the court when the judges delivered their ruling, said she had been “hoping” for the provisional measures to include the order of a ceasefire.
But Pandor also argued that she did not see how Israel could implement the measures directed by the ICJ without a ceasefire.
International justice resolutions will not be effective as long as there is no ceasefire in Gaza
ICJ Ruling a Tragedy or a Self Serving Move
The ICJ knows any ruling it issues, it has no power to enforce. They know that even if they issued a cease fire ruling, that their orders will be promptly ignored by Israel. So to avoid the criticism on its irrelevancy they chose the milquetoast route. By not calling for a cease-fire they remain relevant and in the conversation.... For a little while.
With this ruling the ICJ garners your anger but at least they stay relevant for a little while longer.
For the ICJ to function, the US/EU must first stop serving as an accessory to the crime.
ONLY ONE JUDGE TO VOTE IN FAVOUR OF ISRAEL

Weirdly enough Uganda was found guilty of illegally occupying and causing war in Congolese territory, and ordered to pay $325 million in reparations.
Uganda recently hosted the NAM conference, demonstrating support for the Palestinian people. However, behind the scenes, it is widely known that Yoweri K Museveni has close ties with Israel. Judge Sebutinde's statements simply reflect the demands of the Museveni regime, which maintains very strong connections to Bibi and Israel.

Conclusion
The UN Security Council must convene and must enforce this already weak decision by passing a Resolution.
You don't get to 28,000 dead 70% women and children by taking care. What's interesting about our world is we're exactly in the world of “George Orwell 1984”. They say whatever they want. The Israeli's lie, the State department lies, the White House lies, but the court of public opinion, and the international court of justice is not going to accept that.
So Israel is on the path of being found to be committing genocide. it didn't happen today but that's the path that they're on. They can fake it, they can lie, they can say whatever they want but the devastating record that they are creating is going to haunt them for generations to come.
