Who We Are
The TTNRSP was formed in 2023 by citizens who watched Trinidad and Tobago's oil wealth get looted by elites, its youth flee abroad, its crime spiral out of control, and its government offer nothing but excuses. We decided enough.
We are not a party of career politicians. We are workers, teachers, engineers, farmers, artists, and activists who believe that Trinidad and Tobago's best days are ahead — but only if we seize them.
We plan to contest elections within the next 5 years. But first, we are doing something radical in T&T politics: proving ourselves before asking for your vote.

“In T&T, work is socialized and profits are privatized to a select few. We are here to reverse that equation — and we will not apologize for it.”
What We Stand For
No IMF dictates. No foreign corporate control. Trinidad and Tobago's resources must serve Trinidadians and Tobagonians — exclusively.
The wealth this nation produces must reach the people who produce it. Fair wages, worker ownership, and an end to the extraction economy.
Every dollar stolen from the state is a school unfunded, a road unpaved, a life diminished. Corruption is not a nuisance — it is violence against the people.
We stand with our Caribbean neighbours and the African diaspora. Our liberation is collective. What weakens Barbados weakens us all.
The right to organize, to strike, to own a stake in what you build. Workers are not a cost to be minimized — they are the entire economy.
Restart the agricultural sector. End import dependency. A nation that feeds itself cannot be starved into submission by foreign markets.
A ministry of AI, digital infrastructure, and tech education. We will not be left behind by the fourth industrial revolution — we will lead it.
The Founders
Ordinary citizens. Extraordinary commitment.

Our Journey
Citizens tired of choosing between PNM and UNC formally established the TTNRSP and began drafting the founding manifesto.
38 concrete policy positions released covering sovereignty, economics, agriculture, technology, justice, and social welfare — written in plain language, for the people.
The party's digital presence expanded rapidly, reaching tens of thousands of Trinidadians at home and in the diaspora through the blog and social media.
Launch of the T&T Jobs and Skills Database, doubles vendor map, crop buyback programme advocacy, and mutual aid organizing — proving policy through real action.
The TTNRSP begins the formal process of electoral registration in preparation for the next general elections.
The movement's goal: field candidates across every constituency in Trinidad and Tobago — with a proven track record, not just promises.

Why Socialism
Socialism is not a foreign ideology. It is the simple belief that resources we all produce together should benefit all of us — not be siphoned upward to a minority who did not earn them.
Under the current system, T&T has generated billions in oil revenue — and yet our hospitals are collapsing, our schools are underfunded, our young people are leaving in record numbers, and crime is at crisis level.
That is not an accident. That is the system working exactly as designed — for the few. We intend to redesign it for the many.
