Humanity for Peace Rally

Jose Vega to hold Humanity for Peace Rally at United Nations

On August 6, the anniversary of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima by the United States, an emergency international demonstration will take place titled "Humanity for Peace" — the flag ship demonstration will be held at the United Nations, New York City. In collaboration with dozens of other organizations across the political spectrum and the planet, we are organizing to ensure this demonstration is a success.

Humanity MUST make a stand against nuclear war now. There is such a thing as too late.

Actions speak louder than words, and by participating in the rally, you're taking a tangible step towards a more peaceful world. Your presence in the crowd sends a clear and powerful message to leaders, communities, and individuals worldwide that the call for peace is unwavering. This collective statement has the potential to inspire change at all levels, from local communities to international diplomacy.

The rally isn't just about showing up – it's also about connecting with like-minded individuals who share your passion for peace. You'll meet people from various backgrounds and cultures, forging friendships that transcend borders. These connections can lead to collaborations, discussions, and initiatives that continue long after the rally ends, fostering a global network of peace advocates.

Imagine the impact of showing the younger generation that people can come together, set aside their differences, and work towards a common goal. By joining the Humanity for Peace Rally, you're not just participating in an event; you're setting an example for future leaders, activists, and advocates. Your presence plants the seed of hope in their hearts and demonstrates that positive change is possible through unity and determination.
