I was born on the beautiful island of trinidad in the year 1972. My people what have you done. Have you all not been paying attention to what is going on around you?.
Politicians have always been scumbags. We found this out early as a country. I remember my mother and adults at the time complaining about the treasury getting ripped off.I didn't have dreams Trinidad. I had expectations.

I look back and 30 years later our country is exploited. They are extrcting the labours and resources of the land.
How do you gight back? How do you regain control?
I look back at this former slave colony and i still see my people enslaved. Young people I grew up with firmly in the grasp of religion. I have seen that victim mindset destroy the will of my people to fight.
No trinidad this is not an i have a dream speech. Malcolm x and martin Luther had those and looked what happened to them. But dreams don't work unless you work them I dont have dreams. I have expectations.
I'm not going to use fancy words like... Instead i will speak to you in my Trini accent. And maybe cuss you.
Children conditioned to fail at the asge of 11. Inferiority complex... every creed and race should have an equal place.
I never really experienced racism in trinidad. Because I wasn't quite black and I wasn't quite Indian. As a young dougla boy I think I had more access and freedom than other kids around me.
dreams of change are no more than figments of our imagination.
I expected my people to keep educating themselves.
Speak change and change will come.

I expected my people to learn about generational wealth.
When i left trinidad my dad was in office.
We laud the opening of new jails and prisons and we KNOW what the root cause of crime is. Lack of opportunity and education.
